I think that a local agent can greatly enhance your overall satisfaction with your insurance company. It is always nice to be able to meet with your agent face to face and discuss insurance related topics, question or concerns. In addition you have a direct line for communication as opposed to a huge call center with long wait times and 100′s of service reps, you may never talk to the same person twice.
